February News from Rock of Ages

Dear Reader,

Happy February! Thanks for those who replied to the survey... if you haven't, there's still time! It should only take a couple minutes and comes with a free set of Bible verse cards! It's been interesting to read people's feedback. So far the top three categories of interest (in that order) are articles I write, personal news from me, and giveaways. I don't have any of those three things in this newsletter, sadly, but I'm working at incorporating more of your ideas going forward!

Till February 10, you can grab the School Rocks Bundle for free. It includes 50 products that you may find useful in your homeschool, including my "All About Mom/Dad/Grandpa/Grandma" Bundle. Bring smiles to the face of your loved ones when your children fill out the papers!

I'm not doing much with the Brennans Book 4 right now, but hopefully our test readers are! I'm working on a different project... it's a surprise for now, so watch your inbox for details in the next month or so!

Winter Favorites...

Putting my toddler in the bathtub with washable paint and letting her decorate the walls.*

My favorite kind of collagen just came out with a chocolate flavor. It's really tasty!

If you don't have a lap desk yet, you're missing out. I have used this so much since the baby came!

Thanks for reading,

*I was running out of ways to keep her occupied indoors on these cold days, and this has been a lifesaver! You can use a shower too if that's all you have, I like the tub better because she can't climb out. Just mix a bit of dish soap in with the paint to make it thinner and easier to wipe up. I only give her one color at a time. Once she gets tired of doing it, I turn the water on a trickle and give her sponges to wipe it up. Do you have a favorite way to keep little people busy inside? Reply and let me know - I'm still looking for ideas!

Hi there Reader, According to the people who took my survey, emails twice a month are the sweet spot. So, I'm popping in here for the second (and last) time in February. Thanks so much to everyone who took the survey - it's given me some good ideas! Of course, there are some conflicting ideas. One person wants shorter emails, while others want "more tips" (what kind of tips, I wonder?), "meal ideas", "more pictures", "inspirational quotes", "writing tips", "more about your normal family...

Dear Reader, I haven't gotten too many responses on my survey yet, but one response that keeps coming through is that you all want to read more of my articles. The only problem is that I haven't written very many articles. I don't actually really like writing articles. And my favorite kinds of articles to write aren't always topics of wide interest (like the one I wrote about preventing preeclampsia.). That all being said, I'm taking a stab at writing another article today, with the topic...

Dear Reader, We have a cover winner! This also happened to be my favorite and my husband's favorite, so I was glad it was the clear winner! Quite a number of people indicated their second favorite in the notes, and it was interesting to see what everyone thought! Thanks so much for all the responses! Below you can see three samples from Book 4. You should be able to enlarge them by clicking on them. Also, I've put together another poll - this one so you can share your email preferences with...
