Vote on the cover images!

Dear Reader,

Book 4, Winter with the Brennans, is ready for beta readers! I would be happy for a couple more beta readers, so reply if you're interested. I would need you to read the book and give me your feedback on it by February 20th, so fast readers only! 😊 Why the deadline so soon? Well, because I want to have the book ready for a homeschool convention we hope to attend in April. More details will come on that later!

Now, for the fun part - cover image voting! I have three images, A, B, and C. Please go to this quick poll to vote. If you can't access the poll for some reason, just reply with A, B, or C! (Or "none", if you think I should go back to the drawing board.)

And, here's the "back cover blurb" for Book 4:

This winter is filled with unexpected events. You’ll learn to trust God each day with the Brennans when Mom receives a sobering diagnosis. While at home, they build relationships, working and playing together. But there are also times away from home, including Bible School, the homeschool conference, and a family gathering. You’ll read about the big snowstorm, groan along with Matthias’ icy driveway injury, and laugh as the family and some friends play Confusion. The end of the book brings a long-anticipated surprise. There’s lots of exciting happenings in this book, along with encouragement to live for God and have a good attitude, so come along!

Also, in the last email I asked for responses on how many times you've moved. Our winner is Regina, who has moved 6 times! The prize is my big bundle of Bible resources. Congratulations, Regina!

It was great to hear from everyone. One respondent is nearly 50 but has only moved once, when she got married. Another is slightly over 30 and has moved 15 times. For some reason, the numbers 6 and 9 seemed to be popular numbers of moves.

I can't wait to see what the results of the cover picture poll will be! And don't forget to reply if you're interested in reading a test copy of the book!

P.S. I won't be sending a reminder email to vote for the cover pictures, so do it now before you forget! Here's the link again, or you can just reply to the email! https://forms.gle/KSRmAAmeD6uGL9qc7

Hi there Reader, According to the people who took my survey, emails twice a month are the sweet spot. So, I'm popping in here for the second (and last) time in February. Thanks so much to everyone who took the survey - it's given me some good ideas! Of course, there are some conflicting ideas. One person wants shorter emails, while others want "more tips" (what kind of tips, I wonder?), "meal ideas", "more pictures", "inspirational quotes", "writing tips", "more about your normal family...

Dear Reader, Happy February! Thanks for those who replied to the survey... if you haven't, there's still time! It should only take a couple minutes and comes with a free set of Bible verse cards! It's been interesting to read people's feedback. So far the top three categories of interest (in that order) are articles I write, personal news from me, and giveaways. I don't have any of those three things in this newsletter, sadly, but I'm working at incorporating more of your ideas going forward!...

Dear Reader, I haven't gotten too many responses on my survey yet, but one response that keeps coming through is that you all want to read more of my articles. The only problem is that I haven't written very many articles. I don't actually really like writing articles. And my favorite kinds of articles to write aren't always topics of wide interest (like the one I wrote about preventing preeclampsia.). That all being said, I'm taking a stab at writing another article today, with the topic...
